This is the star product of the Costa Brava. No one can pass through this area without tasting this gastronomic delicacy. It does not need anything else: no sauce, no side dish, no great chef to prepare it. Palamos prawn has a rich red colour and intense taste. Even if it is fished all year round, the best season is summer. Watching the trawlers return to port, followed by the auction at the fish market, is another must-see.
